Jurassic Morrison Apatosaurus Tooth VF-JC-24-049Apatosaurus sp. Morrison Formation Upper Jurassic Moffat County, Colorado This is a good example of the rare tooth of a juvenile Apatosaurus. It is 2. 5 cm long and 4 mm wide at the base of the tooth section. It is very well preserved for such a delicate relic. This tooth has a ware facet.
