It arrived on the Ffestiniog Railway in 1981 and was rebuilt by Boston Lodge with a Gardner 6LXB 180hp bus engine. During the late 80s and early 90s is was used for Push Pull duties before being transfered to the Welsh Highland Railway in 2000 for use in the Dinas yard.
